The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) HV3 Foundation Junior Open was held at Colonial Country Club in Thomasville, NC, from August 15-17, 2023. The tournament featured some of the best junior golfers in the country competing for the coveted title of champion.
Grace Ridenhour of Raleigh emerged victorious in the girls’ division after a thrilling three-day tournament. “I’m so excited to win this championship,” said Ridenhour. “It was an incredible experience, and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to compete with such amazing players.”
Michael Lee of Fairfax, VA, took home first-place honors in the boys’ division. “It was an honor to compete here at Colonial Country Club,” said Lee. “I worked hard throughout the tournament, and it feels great to be crowned champion!”
The AJGA HV3 Foundation Junior Open provided junior golfers with a powerful platform to showcase their talent while competing against some of the best golfers in their age group. The event also served as an important fundraiser for the AJGA ACE Grant and the HV3 Foundation, which provides affordable access to youth in sports.
