In 2007, HV3 Foundation founder and president Harold Varner III, then a 17-year-old high school senior, teamed up with Morris Hatalsky to secure victory in the junior-am division. Varner showcased his early golf skills by birdieing four of the last six holes at Pebble Beach, ultimately claiming the title.
Chase McLaughlin, a high school senior from Kernersville, NC, will be representing the First Tee Central Carolina. Marcus Freeman, a high school senior from Charlotte, NC, will represent the First Tee Greater Charlotte in the tournament. Their participation in this prestigious event further highlights the commitment and dedication of the HV3 Foundation to nurturing young talent and promoting youth sports.
