Inaugural HV3 Girls’ High School Invitational

The HV3 Foundation and Carolinas Golf Association are excited to announce the Inaugural HV3 Girls’ High School Invitational hosted by Gaston Country Club in Gastonia, N.C., on Tuesday, September 26. This event will be for female high school golfers in North and South Carolina. The tournament encourages and supports junior girls’ golf, allowing them to compete and showcase their skills. The HV3 Girls’ High School Invitational will draw the top female high school golfers from across the states to compete in team and individual events.

“Creating a platform for junior girls’ golf is very important to me. I’m thrilled to partner with the Carolinas Golf Association and Gaston Country Club to make this event a reality,” said Varner. “The HV3 Girls’ High School Invitational is an opportunity to showcase talented young female golfers and inspire the next generation of women in golf.”

Harold Varner III, a professional golfer and Gastonia, N.C. native, started the HV3 Foundation to support and empower young people through education, recreation, and community engagement. The foundation’s mission is to give back to the community by providing affordable access to youth in sports.

“We are excited to partner with the HV3 Foundation to create an opportunity for girls’ high school golf in the Carolinas,” said Chris Zeh, Director of Junior Golf of the Carolinas Golf Association.
